BACKGROUND
Mala qualified as a Solicitor in 2001. She trained at a small, niche firm in the centre of Manchester focusing upon Commercial Litigation and White Collar Fraud. Following qualification, Mala moved to Berg and Co (now Berg Legal) in Manchester and continued to develop her work in the field of commercial litigation. After a short stint in Keoghs' Company Commercial Department, Mala joined Hague Lambert in July 2004.
EXPERTISE
Mala specialises in Commercial Litigation and has 8 years' experience of dealing with all manner of commercial disputes, with particular emphasis upon contractual disputes and negligence claims. Mala also advises upon general litigation matters.
INTERESTS
Mala is a keen swimmer! She has competed in the Swimming Trials for the Victoria Commonwealth Games, this being one of her swimming career highlights. She enjoys travelling abroad and spending time with her family and friends. Mala is married and Mum to young daughter Maya, who now calls the shots and likes to keep mum on her toes all day long!
